Admissions
Application to Graduate Programs in TLAC is a two step process. You must apply for admission to Graduate Admissions at TAMU, as well as to the Department of Teaching, Learning and Culture. Both steps must be completed by the deadine listed below. If you are applying to the Online Executive Ed.D. Program, please visit the Ed.D. page for specific admissions requirements.
Step 1. Texas A&M Graduate Admissions

- Application Fee:
$50.00 for US Citizens/Permanent Residents
$75.00 for international applicants / students
- Official TOEFL Scores:
Texas A&M University requires the TOEFL examination from its international applicants. The Department requires a minimum computer based TOEFL score of 213 or a minimum paper and pencil based TOEFL score of 550. If you score a 400 or better on the verbal portion of the GRE exam, then you do not have to submit a TOEFL score! For more information on the TOEFL, visit the TOEFL website at: http://www.toefl.org/.
- College Transcripts
Texas A&M University requires official transcripts from each senior-level post-secondary institution attended.

Step 2. TLAC Graduate Admissions
- Three letters of recommendation. These can be submitted as a letter or using the recommendation form. Recommendation Form (PDF Version)
- Completed departmental form entitled, "Biographical Data Form"
