Valerie Hill-Jackson, clinical assistant professor of multicultural education, will present Transforming Education: Adult Learners and Leadership at the International Conference on Excellence in Education 2008: Future Minds in Paris, France.
The conference is hosted by the International Centre for Innovation in Education and is committed to the development of all learners as productive world citizens and leaders for the future.
Fellow faculty member Chance Lewis, associate professor of urban education, also will be in Paris to present at the 2008 Paris International Conference on Education, Economy & Society, July 17-19. His presentation is titled African American Male Teachers in K-12 Schools: An Examination of Three Urban School Districts.
The conference is intended to be a forum, discussion and networking place for academics, researchers, professionals, administrators, educational leaders, policy makers and industry representatives interested in education.
