Education Research Center To Host First Seminar In Yearlong Series Oct. 24

The State of Texas Education Research Center (ERC) at Texas A&M University, housed in the College of Education and Human Development, will host the first event in its 2007-2008 seminar series from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, in Harrington Tower 614. 

Lori Taylor, assistant professor in the George Bush School of Government and Public Service and program area leader for school finance, facilities and organization at the ERC, will present Pay for Performance in Texas: Evaluating the First Year of the Governor's Educator Excellence Grants Program.

Faculty, graduate students and the public are invited to attend the event. RSVP to Amber Hopkins at ahopkins@tamu.edu or 845-8363. A light lunch will be served to those who register.
