Graduate Assistantships

The Urban Education Program has a widespread variety of opportunities for graduate assistantships and volunteer opportunities. Our students have found that the graduate assistantship experience aids their developmental process and supports their career aspirations. Through the Urban Education advisor, Dr. Norvella Carter, creates a network that is beneficial to students to obtain an assistantship that will expand their professional objectives. While every effort is made to help secure students with an assistantship, students must actively produce and participate is in their respective duties to truly benefit their career interests and maintain their assistantship.
