International Seminar on Mathematics Education Scheduled for July 1

The College of Education and Human Development at Texas A&M University is hosting an International Seminar on Mathematics Education July 1, 2008, at The Center for Distance Learning Research (CDLR).

The seminar is intended to encourage international exchange of mathematics teaching, learning and teacher education with a special focus on algebra by bringing in ideas and practices from China. The Chinese master teacher who taught the algebra lessons will be available to share and discuss the teaching practices utilized in the Chinese classrooms. 

All are invited to attend the free seminar. RSVP to Dr. Yeping Li at yepingli@tamu.edu by June 27, 2008, to confirm your attendance. A light lunch will be served to those who register.
