Every semester the UPM program offers you the option to order books from Scholastic at AMAZING prices. These books are great for personal use or as additions to your future classroom library. As a bonus, your purchases will give the UPMs points to buy books for the UPM library. Books in the UPM libraray are availabe for all students in TLAC writing-intensive courses to check out and borrow for class assignments - free of charge!
If you would like to order some books, just follow these easy steps:
1) Go to http://clubs.scholastic.com/
2) Create an account (click register now)
3) Register as a parent but enter your name under “student name.”
4) Enter activation code JD7JL.
It's that easy!
Ordering from Scholastic online is easier than ever. You can browse regular catalogs, specialty catalogs, or use the search engine to locate specific books, genres, or other categories such as Caldecott and Newbery winners. When the books come in, you will receive an email or an announcement from your UPM to come and pick up your order at the UPM office EDCT (Harrington Tower) room 210.
Fall 2012 semester’s orders are due:
1st September Orders: Friday, September 7>>This is a great time to order books for your course (Sarah, Plain and Tall and Out of the Dust)!
2nd September Orders: Monday, September 24
October Orders: Monday, October 22
November Orders: Friday, November 16
