"Jane Stallings Student Service Award"

A call for nominations is sent out to faculty and staff within the College of Education and Human Development in January with nominations due in March. This award was established by the College of Education and Human Development's Advisory Council with the dual purpose of honoring Texas A&M University's first female dean, Jane Stallings, and recognizing an outstanding senior education undergraduate student who has demonstrated exceptional service and commitment to the teaching profession. The recipient will be recognized at the Dean's Roundtable and will receive a certificate and a $1,000 cash award.
