The following dates are for those Student Teaching Fall 2008

Twelve Week (60 days) Student Teaching Assignment Dates	August 25 - Mid-November
Student Teaching Orientations with Supervisors	Week of August 25
Applications for Degree Due Check http://degreeapp.tamu.edu for information. (Applying after this date will result in a $50 late fee and your diploma will not be in your diploma tube at graduation.)	September 5
Graduation Announcement Orders Due (Check http://graduation.tamu.edu for information)	Early October
Reminder: Register for certification/fingerprinting (Check http://www.sbec.state.tx.us/ for more information)	Early October
Mandatory Career Fair - TAMU campus - Reed Arena Interviewing Seminar	October 20
Q-drop Deadline	October 31 (by 5:00 p.m.)
TExES Exam Dates (Only date for paper based test) Register for TEA ID# at http://www.sbec.state.tx.us/ Register for tests at www.texes.ets.org	November 8 (register by October 10)
Complete Evaluations: University Supervisor Cooperating Teacher	November 21
Tuition Rebate Application Due	Early December
Commencement (Check http://graduation.tamu.edu to verify date and time)	December 12-13
