TLAC’s commitment is to support the districts that are current partners with trained supervisors.
New district partnerships will only be considered if the district is more than 35 miles from a current district, the district is willing to agree to placement guidelines, and a qualified student teacher supervisor can be hired in the area.
All university student teacher supervisors are hired and trained by the department.
District partnerships are subject to change at any time.
Student teachers may not be placed on a campus with an immediate relative.

All school districts are fully accredited by the Texas Education Agency.
