Local ~ TAMU provides supervisor and placement:
Brenham
Bryan
College Station
STAMP ~ honors student teaching with trained master mentor teachers serving dual role as cooperating teacher and supervisor:
ST must have 3.5 GPA
ST must submit a letter of recommendation (SM Instructor)
Placement will be in Bryan or College Station
Distance ~ districts throughout the state that partner with TAMU to place student teachers and provide supervision:
Districts provide university supervisor trained by TAMU
Districts decide placement based on ST application and needs of district
Austin area ~ Leander
Burton
Calvert
Corpus Christi area ~ Gregory-Portland
Dallas/Fort Worth area ~ Carroll, Eagle Mountain/Saginaw, Ferris, Frisco, Irving, Mesquite, Prosper, Richardson, Rockwall, Westlake Academy (IB school near Grapevine)
Giddings
Houston area ~ Aldine, Alief, Clear Creek, Cleveland, Conroe, Crosby, Cy-Fair, Fort Bend, Goose Creek, Humble, Klein, La Porte, New Caney, Pearland, Santa Fe, Sheldon, Spring Branch, Tomball

Waco area ~ Midway

Single Long Distance Placement ~ individual placements for students returning to hometown or relocating with spouse (must be 30+ miles from any TAMU distance district):
ST must have 3.0 GPA
ST must submit 2 letters of recommendation (SM Instructor and TLAC Professor)
District must provide supervisor and placement at no cost to TAMU or ST
International ~ established relationship with schools in England & Dominican Republic:
ST must have 3.0 GPA
ST must submit 3 letters of recommendation (SM Instructor, TLAC Professor, and Study Abroad)
ST required to write a letter of interest
ST must have participated in the Study Abroad program or have international travel experience prior to Student Teaching

**All school districts are fully accredited by the Texas Education Agency.
**Most districts accept K-12 placement requests.
