Established by the Center for Urban School Partnerships (CUSP) during Spring 2011, Wist Wednesday is an academic lecture series designed to provide a platform for current research impacting urban education. This bi-annual colloquium typically consists of a 45 minute lecture from an elite scholar in a particular discipline, and a 15 minute question and answer session. Advertised throughout the campuse of Texas A&M University and streamed for remote viewers, Wist Wednesay seeks to educate those whose interest lies in the education of urban students.
