Curriculum & Instruction Graduate Programs with an emphasis in Reading and Language Arts

The program offers Master of Science (M.S.), Master of Education (M.Ed.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees in Curriculum and Instruction. In addition to taking a core curriculum shared with all students of Curriculum and Instruction, students will complete courses specific to the Reading and Language Arts program. In addition, students have the option to pursue a Reading Specialist Certification and Master Reading Teacher Certification.

Admissions

We are now admitting for fall, spring, and summer semesters.

Note: Summer admits can take a maximum of 6 credit hours (2 courses), and those courses must be RDNG courses recommended by their advisor.

To be admitted to a graduate program, you must apply to the TLAC department and Texas A&M University.
