FROM OUR FORMER STUDENTS

“One of the things that set this program apart is that it is located within the Teaching, Learning & Culture Department at Texas A&M. There’s more to teaching than just delivering a curriculum or instructional strategy; we have to consider the influence that culture has one what we do.”

Shelby

Howdy! My name is Shelby Reynolds from Tomball, Texas. I am a Senior EC-6 major with plans of becoming a Pre-K or Kindergarten teacher. Before I begin teaching little kiddos, I would love to be an assistant drill team director in the Houston area. Prior to attending Texas A&M University, I graduated from Kilgore College and I was a member of the 77th Line of the Kilgore College Rangerettes.

Along with being a UPM this semester, I am also a nanny and work with the preschool ministry at First Baptist Church in Bryan. I love helping and being around others!

I look forward to working with Mrs. Harper and students in RDNG 373!
