B.S. in Education: Early Childhood Development & Education

The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Early Childhood Development & Education (ECDE) program equips students with the knowledge and experience necessary to serve children from birth to age 8 and their families. The program offers two distinct tracks:

Leadership Track: This track is ideal for students interested in leadership roles within service agencies or educational settings that support young children and their families. Graduates will be prepared to lead initiatives that positively impact early childhood development.

Teaching (Non-Licensure) Track: This track is designed for students who wish to pursue careers as teachers or caregivers for young children without obtaining a teaching license. It focuses on providing the skills necessary to nurture and educate children in various settings.

Admissions

Freshman, change of major and transfer students should follow all Texas A&M University and department admissions policies. View Texas A&M Undergraduate Admissions for full information.
